About Us

We're Canine Solutions. Our owner, Dawn Schertz, has been professionally training dogs since 2004. We specialize in board & train programs designed to fit each dog's specific needs. We use a balanced approach in our training, including positive reinforcement and corrections, to ensure the best possible outcome. We know your dog is part of your family, and we look forward to helping you forge a long-lasting bond with one another.

1000/10 recommend for anyone looking for amazing training or boarding needs. Dawn is flexible, quick to communicate and has simple training techniques that make a huge difference! Easy commands used to incorporate at home so even the kids can get involved. We first used Dawn’s services in 2022 with her two week training program and have since boarded several times. We just recently did a refresh training while our dogs were boarded before bringing home our newborn. Our dogs come home well behaved, focused and tolerable to be around in a house with 6 people! I don’t recommend two puppies at once but I DO recommend Canine Solutions in a heart beat!!! Dawn has given us so much freedom taking away the stress of our troubles with our dogs and you can’t put a price on that. With her continued guidance and support, even after training, shows just how selfless and passionate she is about her work. Dawn is kind, easy going and fantastic to work with!!!

I was looking for a good trainer to help train my corgi mix before my baby arrives, and we were recommended by multiple people to Dawn. Definitely for a good reason! Over the two weeks I received multiple update videos on Binny and his progress. It was always nice to see him, he was very missed at home! He came back a gentleman though. All the commands are very clear and easy to preform and do training upkeep at home with. 10-15 extra minutes a day to have such a well trained dog is worth it. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great board and train program, worth every penny!
